What is mcpbizapps?
mcpbizapps is a governed MCP gateway that lets Claude, ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot and custom agents work with the business apps your company runs, such as SAP Business ByDesign, with role-based access, a preview before every change, approval rules and a full audit trail.
Which AI assistants does mcpbizapps work with?
Claude, ChatGPT (Business, Enterprise and Edu plans with custom connectors) and agents built in Microsoft Copilot Studio. Other AI clients that support remote MCP servers with OAuth sign-in work too.
Which business apps does mcpbizapps support?
SAP Business ByDesign is available today. mcpbizapps is built for many business apps: each app is added as a pack on the same gateway, with the same roles, approvals and audit log. Tell us which apps you run.
What can the AI assistant do in SAP Business ByDesign?
Find customers and sales orders, show delivery status, open items, receivables aging and project budget vs actual, and prepare and create sales orders with a preview and approval.
What is an MCP server?
A service that gives AI assistants a defined set of tools through Model Context Protocol, an open standard. mcpbizapps is a governed MCP gateway for business apps.
Control and security
Can the AI assistant change data without a person checking it?
No. Every change is shown as a preview and needs the person to confirm it. Above the amount your admin sets, a second person must approve it, and nobody can approve their own request.
Who decides what each person can do?
Your mcpbizapps admin, with roles. Each role lists the tools its members can use from their AI assistant.
Does mcpbizapps store our business data?
No. Business data is read live, returned to the assistant and not stored. A prepared change waiting for confirmation or approval is kept encrypted for at most 24 hours and then deleted.
Where is mcpbizapps hosted?
On AWS in the United States (N. Virginia).
What is in the audit log?
Every request from an AI assistant, every approval decision, sign-in and admin change, with the person, the tool, the result and the time. It exports to CSV and is kept one year by default.
How do we remove someone’s access?
Deactivate them in the console. Every AI client they connected is refused on its next request.
Setup and pilots
What do we need in SAP Business ByDesign?
A dedicated integration user, a few web services we provide that your ByDesign administrator turns on once, and for creating sales orders, the standard sales order interface. We set this up with you.
Do people need their own ByDesign user?
No. They sign in to mcpbizapps with their work email. mcpbizapps connects to ByDesign with one integration user and logs every request under the real person.
How do people connect their AI assistant?
They add one connector URL to Claude, ChatGPT or Copilot Studio and sign in with their work email and a 6-digit code.
How much does it cost?
It is a subscription, quoted after a guided pilot scope is agreed. Book a demo to start.
