SAP S/4HANA Cloud for Claude, ChatGPT and Copilot

Plenty of people need an answer from SAP S/4HANA Cloud without learning Fiori apps. With Claude, ChatGPT or Copilot connected, they can ask about sales orders, billing documents, supplier invoices on hold and cost center spend. Access can follow company codes and plants, and amounts above your thresholds go to an approver. A guided pilot with your SAP team sets up S/4HANA Cloud for your organization.

Ask in a sentence

What can your team ask SAP S/4HANA Cloud?

Questions from accounts payable lead, cost center manager, order-to-cash analyst and others, answered from live SAP S/4HANA Cloud data and only for the people allowed to see them.

Records it works with

  • Sales orders
  • Billing documents
  • Purchase orders
  • Supplier invoices
  • Business partners
  • Cost centers
  • Journal entries
  • Accounts payable lead

  • Cost center manager

“How much has cost center 4200 spent on travel this fiscal year against plan?”

  • Order-to-cash analyst

  • Category buyer

“Which purchase orders for packaging materials are still waiting for a goods receipt?”

Changes, governed

What the assistant can prepare in SAP S/4HANA Cloud

The assistant never saves on its own. It prepares the change, the person checks the preview and confirms, and anything above your limits waits for an approver.

  1. 1 Prepare The assistant drafts the change from the request.
  2. 2 Preview and confirm The person sees exactly what will change.
  3. 3 Approve Above your limits, a second person decides.
  4. 4 Saved and logged Written to SAP S/4HANA Cloud under a named person.
  • Prepare a purchase requisition for a cost center

Requisitions over €10,000 go to the cost center owner, and over €50,000 to procurement as well.

  • Remove a delivery block on a sales order

A credit manager approves when the customer is over its credit limit.

  • Update the payment terms on a business partner

A finance approver confirms any change that extends terms beyond 60 days.

Example rules. During the pilot you set the limits, the approvers and which roles may prepare each change.

Why it needs care

Governance built for SAP S/4HANA Cloud

S/4HANA Cloud carries group results, supplier payments and production plans for many legal entities at once. Removing a delivery block or extending payment terms is a credit decision, not a clerical one. Credit managers and finance approvers make those calls, and internal audit can trace each request to a named person.

  • Sign-in by work email

Only people you invite, with a one-time code. No shared logins.

  • Roles per tool

Each role reaches only the SAP S/4HANA Cloud records it needs.

  • View only, if you prefer

Admins can keep a connection to lookups with one switch.

  • A preview first

Every change is shown in full before anything is saved.

  • Approval rules

Above your limits, a second person approves the change.

  • One audit log

Every request tied to a named person, ready for review.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud questions

Does this work with both the public and private editions of S/4HANA Cloud?

We confirm your edition and release in the pilot and agree which business objects each role may reach. In both cases the connection uses a dedicated communication user, never a person’s own SAP login.

Can an assistant explain why a supplier invoice is blocked?

Yes. It reads the block reason and the related purchase order and goods receipt, then explains the mismatch in a sentence or two, so an AP clerk knows whether to chase the buyer or the warehouse.

How do roles map to company codes?

During the pilot we define roles per company code, plant or sales organization. A controller in Germany then sees German entities, while a group controller sees all of them, and answers always name the company code.

Does mcpbizapps keep a copy of our SAP S/4HANA Cloud data?

No. When someone asks a question, mcpbizapps reads the answer live from SAP S/4HANA Cloud through a dedicated integration user and returns it without storing it. The audit log records who asked, which tool ran and the result, with personal fields and free text removed.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud is a trademark of its owner. mcpbizapps is not affiliated with SAP; the name describes the connection only.
