AI assistants for HR and workforce software

In an HR system, an AI assistant answers the questions HR business partners and managers ask all day: who reports to whom, which time off requests wait for approval, where headcount sits against budget. mcpbizapps keeps those answers inside each person's role, so a manager sees their own team and nobody browses salaries by accident. Changes are prepared for review, sensitive ones need a second approver, and each request stays on record under the asker's name.

Every app is available

HR and workforce apps you can connect

Each app gets the same sign-in, roles, previews, approvals and audit log. We connect each one for your team in a guided pilot.

Use cases

What teams use it for

  • Headcount and org questions

Leaders ask how many people sit in each team, which roles are open and where reporting lines changed this quarter, and get answers from live HR records instead of last month's export.

  • Time off and leave balances

Managers see pending requests and team coverage before approving, and employees check their own balance without opening a ticket with the HR team.

  • Onboarding and offboarding checks

HR operations confirms which new hires still miss documents or equipment, and which leavers still have open tasks, before start dates and last days arrive.

  • Review cycle progress

HR business partners track which managers have not finished reviews or goal check-ins, then prepare reminders for the right people instead of chasing by email.

Governance

What to control in HR and workforce

HR systems hold the most personal data a company keeps: home addresses, pay, performance ratings, medical leave and immigration status. A loose assistant could show a salary to the wrong colleague. With mcpbizapps, roles limit each person to their own record or their own team, field rules can hide pay and personal details, every change is shown as a preview first, and compensation changes or terminations always wait for a second approver. When an employee asks who looked at their record, the log has the answer, which helps HR with privacy questions.

HR and workforce questions

Can an AI assistant see employee salaries?

Only if a person's role allows it. During setup you decide which roles may see pay, ratings or personal details. A manager can be limited to their direct reports, and most people see only their own record, so an assistant cannot answer beyond what that person may already view.

Can the assistant terminate an employee or change pay?

No assistant makes those decisions. It can prepare a compensation change or a termination request with the details filled in, but the person reviews the preview and a second approver from HR must sign off before anything reaches the HR system.

How do we answer an employee who asks who looked at their record?

The audit log records each request with the name of the person who asked, the time and the records involved. HR or privacy staff can search it for one employee and see every lookup and prepared change that touched their data.
