Lattice for Claude, ChatGPT and Copilot

Before a one-on-one, a manager wants open talking points, recent updates and goal progress in one place. HR business partners and managers can ask Claude, ChatGPT or Copilot about Lattice: review cycle progress, goals that are off track, one-on-one agendas, feedback received, engagement survey results by group. Ratings and comments stay with the people allowed to see them. Lattice is introduced through a guided pilot.

Changes, governed

What the assistant can prepare in Lattice

The assistant never saves on its own. It prepares the change, the person checks the preview and confirms, and anything above your limits waits for an approver.

  1. 1 Prepare The assistant drafts the change from the request.
  2. 2 Preview and confirm The person sees exactly what will change.
  3. 3 Approve Above your limits, a second person decides.
  4. 4 Saved and logged Written to Lattice under a named person.
  • Add a goal and link it to a team goal

The person confirms the preview; company-level goals need the goal owner to approve.

  • Add talking points to an upcoming one-on-one

Only the two people in the one-on-one may confirm.

  • Prepare merit recommendations in a compensation cycle

Every pay recommendation needs the department head and HR to approve.

Example rules. During the pilot you set the limits, the approvers and which roles may prepare each change.

Why it needs care

Governance built for Lattice

Lattice holds candid feedback, ratings and pay recommendations that affect careers. Review content stays with the reviewer, the manager and HR. Talking points need one of the two people in the meeting to confirm, and merit recommendations need the department head and HR. During calibration or an appeal, you can see who read which review.

  • Sign-in by work email

Only people you invite, with a one-time code. No shared logins.

  • Roles per tool

Each role reaches only the Lattice records it needs.

  • View only, if you prefer

Admins can keep a connection to lookups with one switch.

  • A preview first

Every change is shown in full before anything is saved.

  • Approval rules

Above your limits, a second person approves the change.

  • One audit log

Every request tied to a named person, ready for review.

Lattice questions

Can an assistant read Lattice reviews?

Only for people who may already see them. A manager can ask about reviews for their own reports, HR can ask across the cycle, and employees see their own shared reviews.

Does it help managers prepare for one-on-ones?

Yes. A manager can ask for open talking points, recent updates, feedback and goal progress before a meeting, then add items to the shared agenda after confirming each one in the preview.

Can it change ratings during calibration?

No. Ratings stay with the reviewers and the calibration group inside Lattice. The assistant can show cycle progress and summaries for HR, but it does not alter ratings or move people between groups.

Does mcpbizapps keep a copy of our Lattice data?

No. When someone asks a question, mcpbizapps reads the answer live from Lattice through a dedicated integration user and returns it without storing it. The audit log records who asked, which tool ran and the result, with personal fields and free text removed.

Lattice is a trademark of its owner. mcpbizapps is not affiliated with Lattice; the name describes the connection only.
