Semrush for Claude, ChatGPT and Copilot
Which keywords moved in position tracking? What did the latest site audit flag, where does a competitor outrank you, and which pages lost backlinks? SEO and content teams can ask Semrush all of this from Claude, ChatGPT or Copilot. Roles limit people to the projects they run, and new tracked keywords are shown first. Requests carry a name. Semrush joins through a guided pilot, project by project.

Changes, governed
What the assistant can prepare in Semrush
The assistant never saves on its own. It prepares the change, the person checks the preview and confirms, and anything above your limits waits for an approver.
- 1 Prepare The assistant drafts the change from the request.
- 2 Preview and confirm The person sees exactly what will change.
- 3 Approve Above your limits, a second person decides.
- 4 Saved and logged Written to Semrush under a named person.
-
Add 40 keywords to a position tracking campaign
The SEO manager confirms the preview, and additions over 200 keywords need a lead to approve because they use plan limits.
-
Start a new site audit crawl for a project
Crawls above 20,000 pages use a large share of the plan, so the SEO lead approves them.
-
Tag tracked keywords by product line
The specialist confirms the preview of tags and keywords before saving.
Example rules. During the pilot you set the limits, the approvers and which roles may prepare each change.
Why it needs care
Governance built for Semrush
Semrush plans have limits on tracked keywords and crawled pages, and agency accounts hold many clients side by side. People stay inside their own projects. A change shows how many keywords or pages it would use, and large additions that would eat the plan need a lead. When ranking history looks odd, you can see who changed tracking.

Semrush questions
Can Claude read Semrush position tracking?
Yes. It reports rankings, visibility and changes for each tracked keyword by device and location, and can compare periods. Answers use the tracking campaign settings already saved in your Semrush project.
Can it explain site audit results?
It lists the errors, warnings and notices from the latest crawl, groups them by issue, and names the affected pages. Fixing them stays with your web team, but the list is ready to share.
Does it work for agencies with many client projects?
Yes. Roles can limit an account manager to the projects of their own clients, so one Semrush account serves the whole agency while each person sees only their share of it.
Does mcpbizapps keep a copy of our Semrush data?
No. When someone asks a question, mcpbizapps reads the answer live from Semrush through a dedicated integration user and returns it without storing it. The audit log records who asked, which tool ran and the result, with personal fields and free text removed.
Semrush is a trademark of its owner. mcpbizapps is not affiliated with Adobe; the name describes the connection only.
