Apollo.io for Claude, ChatGPT and Copilot
Apollo is a huge database of people who have never heard of you. mcpbizapps lets SDRs and sales leaders ask Claude, ChatGPT or Copilot to find people matching your ideal customer profile, check saved lists, see who is already in a sequence and spot accounts with buying signals. Searching costs nothing. Saving, revealing or exporting contacts is previewed first, so credits are spent on purpose. A guided pilot sets roles for search and enrollment.

Changes, governed
What the assistant can prepare in Apollo.io
The assistant never saves on its own. It prepares the change, the person checks the preview and confirms, and anything above your limits waits for an approver.
- 1 Prepare The assistant drafts the change from the request.
- 2 Preview and confirm The person sees exactly what will change.
- 3 Approve Above your limits, a second person decides.
- 4 Saved and logged Written to Apollo.io under a named person.
-
Save contacts from a search to a list
Saving more than 100 contacts at once needs the sales development manager, because it uses credits.
-
Add contacts from a list to a sequence
Enrollments over 25 contacts need manager approval before any email is sent.
-
Create call tasks for new contacts at a target account
The SDR confirms the preview for accounts they own.
Example rules. During the pilot you set the limits, the approvers and which roles may prepare each change.
Why it needs care
Governance built for Apollo.io
Apollo holds work details for people who never gave them to you, and one bulk sequence can reach thousands of them. Saving more than 100 contacts needs the sales development manager, because it spends credits. Enrollments over 25 wait for a manager. When someone asks how you found them, you can see who searched for and saved their record.

Apollo.io questions
Can ChatGPT search the Apollo database for prospects?
Yes, for roles that may search. The assistant turns a description of your ideal buyer into Apollo search filters and shows matching people. Saving them to a list is a separate step with its own preview.
Will the assistant use up our Apollo credits?
Not without someone agreeing. Any step that saves, reveals or exports contacts is shown as a preview first, and larger batches need a manager. Searching on its own does not save contacts.
Can it enroll contacts in Apollo sequences?
It prepares the enrollment with every recipient and the sequence named. The SDR confirms. Anything above your limit waits for a manager, and Apollo sends no first email until that approval is in.
Does mcpbizapps keep a copy of our Apollo.io data?
No. When someone asks a question, mcpbizapps reads the answer live from Apollo.io through a dedicated integration user and returns it without storing it. The audit log records who asked, which tool ran and the result, with personal fields and free text removed.
