ZoomInfo for Claude, ChatGPT and Copilot

ZoomInfo tells you who to call, and mcpbizapps lets your team ask it through Claude, ChatGPT or Copilot. Sales and marketing can look for companies that fit your profile, decision makers at a target account, accounts surging on intent topics and Scoops about funding or new leaders. Each export shows its record count first. Pushing more than 100 records into the CRM needs RevOps. Roles and credit limits are agreed in a guided pilot.

Ask in a sentence

What can your team ask ZoomInfo?

Questions from SDR, account executive, marketing operations manager and others, answered from live ZoomInfo data and only for the people allowed to see them.

Records it works with

  • Companies
  • Contacts
  • Intent signals
  • Scoops
  • Lists
  • Saved searches
  • SDR

“Which manufacturing companies in Texas with $50 million to $250 million in revenue show intent on warehouse automation?”

  • Account executive

“Who are the IT and operations leaders at Bramblewood Foods, and who joined in the last six months?”

  • Marketing operations manager

“Which accounts on our target list had Scoops about new funding this quarter?”

  • Sales director

“Which of our open opportunity accounts show a rise in intent on competitor topics?”

  • RevOps manager

“How many contacts on the Q4 list are already in our CRM, and how many are new?”

  • Demand generation manager

“What job titles appear most often at companies that bought from us last year?”

Changes, governed

What the assistant can prepare in ZoomInfo

The assistant never saves on its own. It prepares the change, the person checks the preview and confirms, and anything above your limits waits for an approver.

  1. 1 Prepare The assistant drafts the change from the request.
  2. 2 Preview and confirm The person sees exactly what will change.
  3. 3 Approve Above your limits, a second person decides.
  4. 4 Saved and logged Written to ZoomInfo under a named person.
  • Save a list of contacts that match a persona

Lists over 200 contacts need the sales director to approve before they are saved.

  • Export contacts into the CRM as new leads

Exports of more than 100 records need RevOps approval, to protect credits and avoid duplicates.

  • Create an intent alert for a set of topics

The marketing operations manager confirms any alert that notifies the whole team.

Example rules. During the pilot you set the limits, the approvers and which roles may prepare each change.

Why it needs care

Governance built for ZoomInfo

ZoomInfo exports cost credits and can flood a CRM with duplicates, and the contacts involved have not spoken to you yet. The preview shows how many records already exist before anything moves. Lists over 200 contacts need the sales director. Search rights are granted by role, and you can see who requested each contact.

  • Sign-in by work email

Only people you invite, with a one-time code. No shared logins.

  • Roles per tool

Each role reaches only the ZoomInfo records it needs.

  • View only, if you prefer

Admins can keep a connection to lookups with one switch.

  • A preview first

Every change is shown in full before anything is saved.

  • Approval rules

Above your limits, a second person approves the change.

  • One audit log

Every request tied to a named person, ready for review.

ZoomInfo questions

Can ChatGPT search ZoomInfo for us?

Yes, for roles that are allowed to search. The assistant turns a description such as "operations leaders at mid-size food companies" into ZoomInfo filters and lists the matches, without exporting anything yet.

Will exports into our CRM be checked first?

Yes. Any export shows a preview with the record count, the destination and how many already exist. The person confirms, and large exports need RevOps approval before they run. Each export is logged with the person who asked.

Can we ask about intent signals for our accounts?

Yes. The assistant can report which accounts show rising intent on your chosen topics and how that compares with earlier weeks. You decide which roles may see intent data, and which only see company and contact details.

Does mcpbizapps keep a copy of our ZoomInfo data?

No. When someone asks a question, mcpbizapps reads the answer live from ZoomInfo through a dedicated integration user and returns it without storing it. The audit log records who asked, which tool ran and the result, with personal fields and free text removed.

ZoomInfo is a trademark of its owner. mcpbizapps is not affiliated with ZoomInfo; the name describes the connection only.
