Amplitude for Claude, ChatGPT and Copilot
Through mcpbizapps, product and growth teams ask Claude, ChatGPT or Copilot about Amplitude: what a dashboard says this week, which behavioral cohort retains best, whether an experiment reached significance and how a feature launch moved active users. Each person stays inside the projects their role allows, changes such as a new cohort are previewed first, and every request is logged. Your growth lead helps choose which Amplitude projects enter the guided pilot.

Changes, governed
What the assistant can prepare in Amplitude
The assistant never saves on its own. It prepares the change, the person checks the preview and confirms, and anything above your limits waits for an approver.
- 1 Prepare The assistant drafts the change from the request.
- 2 Preview and confirm The person sees exactly what will change.
- 3 Approve Above your limits, a second person decides.
- 4 Saved and logged Written to Amplitude under a named person.
-
Create a behavioral cohort of users who abandoned setup
Creating it is the analyst's call; syncing it to an ad or messaging tool needs the growth lead.
-
Add a chart to a shared dashboard
The dashboard owner confirms the preview before the chart appears for everyone.
-
Roll out a feature flag to more users
Raising rollout above 25% of users needs the product owner to approve, with the current and new share shown.
Example rules. During the pilot you set the limits, the approvers and which roles may prepare each change.
Why it needs care
Governance built for Amplitude
Amplitude shapes product decisions, and its cohorts often feed ads and messaging. A cohort synced to the wrong destination or a rollout raised too early reaches real users. Projects set the limits for each role. Cohort size and destination are visible before a sync, and syncs and rollouts need a lead. A launch review can trace each change to a person.

Amplitude questions
Can ChatGPT read Amplitude experiment results?
Yes. It reports each variant's lift, confidence and sample size on the primary metric you set in Amplitude Experiment, and says when a test needs more time. The decision to ship stays with your team.
Can it create Amplitude cohorts?
It prepares a behavioral cohort as a preview with its definition and current size. The person confirms, and syncing the cohort to another tool waits for an approver before any user list leaves Amplitude.
Does it respect Amplitude project permissions?
Yes. During the pilot we map Amplitude projects to mcpbizapps roles, so a person only gets answers from projects they already work in, and every answer names the project and the chart behind it.
Does mcpbizapps keep a copy of our Amplitude data?
No. When someone asks a question, mcpbizapps reads the answer live from Amplitude through a dedicated integration user and returns it without storing it. The audit log records who asked, which tool ran and the result, with personal fields and free text removed.
Amplitude is a trademark of its owner. mcpbizapps is not affiliated with Amplitude; the name describes the connection only.
