Mixpanel for Claude, ChatGPT and Copilot
Product teams live on Mixpanel questions: where a signup funnel loses people, how retention for the March cohort compares with June, which features power users touch, what changed on a board after a launch. Through mcpbizapps they can ask in Claude, ChatGPT or Copilot. People reach only the projects their role allows, and a new cohort is shown before it is saved. A guided pilot, agreed with your data lead, sets up Mixpanel.

Changes, governed
What the assistant can prepare in Mixpanel
The assistant never saves on its own. It prepares the change, the person checks the preview and confirms, and anything above your limits waits for an approver.
- 1 Prepare The assistant drafts the change from the request.
- 2 Preview and confirm The person sees exactly what will change.
- 3 Approve Above your limits, a second person decides.
- 4 Saved and logged Written to Mixpanel under a named person.
-
Create a cohort of users who used exports three times
The product manager confirms the preview with the user count; cohorts synced to other tools need a data lead to approve.
-
Add a description to an event in Lexicon
Descriptions are the analyst's call; hiding or dropping an event needs the data governance owner.
-
Add a saved report to a team board
The board owner confirms the change before it appears for the team.
Example rules. During the pilot you set the limits, the approvers and which roles may prepare each change.
Why it needs care
Governance built for Mixpanel
Mixpanel event data shows how real people use your product, often down to individual users and accounts. User-level detail stays with the people who need it. Cohort sizes are visible before they sync to messaging tools, and an approver guards your event definitions. If a metric is disputed later, you can see who asked what.

Mixpanel questions
Can Claude build a Mixpanel funnel?
It can answer a funnel question directly, such as conversion between three events over a set window, and explain the result. A saved report on a board can be prepared as a preview for the board owner to confirm.
Does it follow our Mixpanel data views?
Yes. During the pilot we match mcpbizapps roles to your projects and data views, so a person sees the same events and properties through the assistant that they already see in Mixpanel.
Can it explain a sudden change in a metric?
It can break the change down by properties such as platform, country or plan, and point to where it is concentrated. A person still decides the cause and what to do about it.
Does mcpbizapps keep a copy of our Mixpanel data?
No. When someone asks a question, mcpbizapps reads the answer live from Mixpanel through a dedicated integration user and returns it without storing it. The audit log records who asked, which tool ran and the result, with personal fields and free text removed.
Mixpanel is a trademark of its owner. mcpbizapps is not affiliated with Mixpanel; the name describes the connection only.
