Anrok for Claude, ChatGPT and Copilot
Software companies often learn about new nexus late. Finance teams can ask Claude, ChatGPT or Copilot where Anrok shows exposure building in US states or abroad, how tax was set on a subscription invoice, which customers have exemption certificates or VAT IDs on file, and which registrations and filings are due. Sales and support only look things up. A guided pilot sets up Anrok with your controller, next to the billing system it reads from.

Changes, governed
What the assistant can prepare in Anrok
The assistant never saves on its own. It prepares the change, the person checks the preview and confirms, and anything above your limits waits for an approver.
- 1 Prepare The assistant drafts the change from the request.
- 2 Preview and confirm The person sees exactly what will change.
- 3 Approve Above your limits, a second person decides.
- 4 Saved and logged Written to Anrok under a named person.
-
Upload an exemption certificate to a customer record
The billing operations manager checks it, and a second person approves before it applies.
-
Change the product mapping for a new add-on
The controller approves every product mapping change.
-
Mark a return as reviewed before filing
The head of finance approves each return review.
Example rules. During the pilot you set the limits, the approvers and which roles may prepare each change.
Why it needs care
Governance built for Anrok
Anrok sets tax on every subscription invoice and tracks where the company owes it, often in dozens of places. A wrong product mapping spreads across every renewal. That is why the controller approves each mapping, a second person checks every uploaded certificate, and the head of finance reviews returns before filing.

Anrok questions
Does it work with our billing system?
Anrok usually sits next to a billing system such as Stripe, Chargebee or NetSuite. Those can be connected as their own apps, so people can follow an invoice from billing to the tax Anrok set on it.
Can it track nexus from remote employees?
Yes, where Anrok already records physical nexus from employee locations. The assistant reports those states alongside economic nexus, so finance sees the full picture before deciding on any new registrations.
Can it explain software taxability by state?
It explains how Anrok treated a specific product on a specific invoice, using your product mappings. It is not tax advice, so open questions about taxability still go to your tax advisor.
Does mcpbizapps keep a copy of our Anrok data?
No. When someone asks a question, mcpbizapps reads the answer live from Anrok through a dedicated integration user and returns it without storing it. The audit log records who asked, which tool ran and the result, with personal fields and free text removed.
Anrok is a trademark of its owner. mcpbizapps is not affiliated with Anrok; the name describes the connection only.
