Attio for Claude, ChatGPT and Copilot

Attio lets you shape your own data model, so no two workspaces look alike. mcpbizapps maps yours in a guided pilot. After that, Claude, ChatGPT or Copilot can answer about deals by stage, companies on a target list, people you met last week, or records in an investors or partners object. Roles decide which objects each person may open, and adding more than 50 list entries at once waits for RevOps.

Changes, governed

What the assistant can prepare in Attio

The assistant never saves on its own. It prepares the change, the person checks the preview and confirms, and anything above your limits waits for an approver.

  1. 1 Prepare The assistant drafts the change from the request.
  2. 2 Preview and confirm The person sees exactly what will change.
  3. 3 Approve Above your limits, a second person decides.
  4. 4 Saved and logged Written to Attio under a named person.
  • Update a deal stage and value from meeting notes

Deals above $40,000 need the founder or head of sales to approve a stage move.

  • Add a batch of companies to a list with a status

Adding more than 50 entries at once needs the RevOps lead to approve.

  • Create a task and note linked to a person record

Tasks and notes on a single person record save when the requester confirms.

Example rules. During the pilot you set the limits, the approvers and which roles may prepare each change.

Why it needs care

Governance built for Attio

Attio workspaces often mix customers, investors, candidates and partners in custom objects that only some people should see. Access is set per object and per list. Previews show each attribute that will change. Deal moves above $40,000 need a founder or the head of sales, and a record of every request is kept under the requester's name.

  • Sign-in by work email

Only people you invite, with a one-time code. No shared logins.

  • Roles per tool

Each role reaches only the Attio records it needs.

  • View only, if you prefer

Admins can keep a connection to lookups with one switch.

  • A preview first

Every change is shown in full before anything is saved.

  • Approval rules

Above your limits, a second person approves the change.

  • One audit log

Every request tied to a named person, ready for review.

Your Attio administrator creates a dedicated integration user with only that access.

  3. 03

    Test with your people

A small group tries it in Claude, ChatGPT or Copilot while we tune the tools.

  4. 04

    Roll out with rules

Roles, approval limits and the audit log are in place before everyone joins.

Attio questions

Does it work with Attio custom objects?

Yes. During the pilot we map your custom objects and attributes, such as investors, partners or projects, and decide which roles may use each. Questions then reach the right object by the name your team uses.

Can the assistant work from Attio lists?

Yes. It can answer questions about entries on a list and their list attributes, like stage or priority, and prepare changes to them. Large batches of list changes wait for approval.

Can Claude see emails and meetings synced to Attio?

Only for roles you allow. The assistant can summarize the interaction history on a record so someone is ready for a call, while others are limited to the record fields alone.

Does mcpbizapps keep a copy of our Attio data?

No. When someone asks a question, mcpbizapps reads the answer live from Attio through a dedicated integration user and returns it without storing it. The audit log records who asked, which tool ran and the result, with personal fields and free text removed.

Attio is a trademark of its owner. mcpbizapps is not affiliated with Attio; the name describes the connection only.
