Drata for Claude, ChatGPT and Copilot
GRC teams, control owners and HR can ask Claude, ChatGPT or Copilot about Drata: controls and their status in each framework, failing monitoring tests, evidence in the evidence library about to expire, personnel missing policy acceptance or training, vendor reviews. Owners see their own items. Scope and risk changes need an approver. We bring Drata in through a guided pilot, where you also decide who approves risk acceptance.

Changes, governed
What the assistant can prepare in Drata
The assistant never saves on its own. It prepares the change, the person checks the preview and confirms, and anything above your limits waits for an approver.
- 1 Prepare The assistant drafts the change from the request.
- 2 Preview and confirm The person sees exactly what will change.
- 3 Approve Above your limits, a second person decides.
- 4 Saved and logged Written to Drata under a named person.
-
Assign a control to a new owner
The GRC analyst confirms, and the new owner accepts the assignment.
-
Remind personnel to accept a policy
The HR manager confirms the recipient list before reminders are sent.
-
Accept a risk in the risk register
Risks rated high need the CISO and one executive to approve.
Example rules. During the pilot you set the limits, the approvers and which roles may prepare each change.
Why it needs care
Governance built for Drata
Drata tracks the evidence a company relies on in audits and the personnel records behind it, including devices and training. Personnel names stay with HR and GRC; other roles see totals. Reminders show their recipient list before sending. Accepting a high risk takes the CISO and one executive, and each decision is recorded with who made it.

Drata questions
Can it explain why a Drata monitoring test failed?
Yes. A control owner can ask which resources or people caused a test to fail and what needs to change. Fixing the issue stays with them in the source system, and Drata picks up the result on its next check.
Does it include personnel and device data?
For roles you allow, yes. HR can ask who is missing policy acceptance or training, and IT can ask which devices fail checks. Other roles see totals instead of names.
Who approves accepting a risk?
You decide in the pilot. A common rule sends high risks to the CISO and one executive. The assistant prepares the change with the reason, and nothing is saved in Drata until both approve.
Does mcpbizapps keep a copy of our Drata data?
No. When someone asks a question, mcpbizapps reads the answer live from Drata through a dedicated integration user and returns it without storing it. The audit log records who asked, which tool ran and the result, with personal fields and free text removed.
Drata is a trademark of its owner. mcpbizapps is not affiliated with Drata; the name describes the connection only.
