Kinaxis Maestro for Claude, ChatGPT and Copilot
During an S&OP cycle in Kinaxis Maestro, planners want to know which scenarios are open, what a supplier delay does to projected available balance, which alerts fired overnight and where capacity falls short. mcpbizapps lets Claude, ChatGPT or Copilot answer for the sites and product lines each planner covers. Maestro comes online for your planning group in a guided pilot that follows your scenario and workbook structure.

Changes, governed
What the assistant can prepare in Kinaxis Maestro
The assistant never saves on its own. It prepares the change, the person checks the preview and confirms, and anything above your limits waits for an approver.
- 1 Prepare The assistant drafts the change from the request.
- 2 Preview and confirm The person sees exactly what will change.
- 3 Approve Above your limits, a second person decides.
- 4 Saved and logged Written to Kinaxis Maestro under a named person.
-
Create a what-if scenario from the baseline with a supplier delay
Private what if scenarios are created on the planner's say so, since nobody else sees them.
-
Prepare a scenario for promotion to the shared S&OP plan
The S&OP manager approves before any scenario is shared with the wider planning team.
-
Assign an alert to a planner with a due date
Alerts within the planner's own site are assigned directly; alerts owned by another site need that site's planning lead.
Example rules. During the pilot you set the limits, the approvers and which roles may prepare each change.
Why it needs care
Governance built for Kinaxis Maestro
Maestro scenarios shape commitments to customers and suppliers, and a scenario promoted by mistake can send the wrong plan to the whole business. Private what if scenarios are fine to create. Promoting one to the shared S&OP plan always waits for the S&OP manager. Planners keep to their own sites, and the S&OP team can see who built each scenario.

Kinaxis Maestro questions
Does the assistant work with Kinaxis scenarios?
Yes. Questions name the scenario they use, so a planner can compare a baseline with a what-if side by side. The assistant can prepare a new private scenario, while promoting one to a shared plan always waits for an approver.
We still call it RapidResponse. Is that the same product?
Yes. Kinaxis renamed RapidResponse to Maestro, and the data and configuration carried over. The connection works with the same workbooks, scenarios and alerts your planners already know, so nobody has to learn new names.
Does mcpbizapps keep a copy of our Kinaxis Maestro data?
No. When someone asks a question, mcpbizapps reads the answer live from Kinaxis Maestro through a dedicated integration user and returns it without storing it. The audit log records who asked, which tool ran and the result, with personal fields and free text removed.
Kinaxis Maestro is a trademark of its owner. mcpbizapps is not affiliated with Kinaxis; the name describes the connection only.
