Lever for Claude, ChatGPT and Copilot

In Lever, one person can hold several opportunities at once, and recruiters spend much of the day keeping track of them. Claude, ChatGPT or Copilot can now answer for them: opportunities in each pipeline stage, postings and requisitions, interview feedback still owed, nurture campaigns, offers pending approval. People only see the postings they work on. Stage moves, archiving and offers need confirmation. Access starts with a guided pilot on your own Lever account.

Ask in a sentence

What can your team ask Lever?

“How many candidates from the fall nurture campaign replied and moved to a recruiter screen?”

  • Talent operations manager

Changes, governed

What the assistant can prepare in Lever

The assistant never saves on its own. It prepares the change, the person checks the preview and confirms, and anything above your limits waits for an approver.

  1. 1 Prepare The assistant drafts the change from the request.
  2. 2 Preview and confirm The person sees exactly what will change.
  3. 3 Approve Above your limits, a second person decides.
  4. 4 Saved and logged Written to Lever under a named person.
  • Advance an opportunity to the next stage

The posting owner or its hiring manager confirms the advance.

  • Archive an opportunity with an archive reason

The recruiter reviews the reason and any email to the candidate first.

  • Create an offer from the offer template

Offers need hiring manager and HR approval, and above-band salaries need finance.

Example rules. During the pilot you set the limits, the approvers and which roles may prepare each change.

Why it needs care

Governance built for Lever

Lever keeps long histories on candidates, including people who never applied, along with notes, feedback and offer terms. Access follows the postings each person works on. Archiving shows the reason and any candidate email before saving, and offers wait for your approvers. When a candidate asks what data you hold and who used it, the request history helps you answer.

  • Sign-in by work email

Only people you invite, with a one-time code. No shared logins.

  • Roles per tool

Each role reaches only the Lever records it needs.

  • View only, if you prefer

Admins can keep a connection to lookups with one switch.

  • A preview first

Every change is shown in full before anything is saved.

  • Approval rules

Above your limits, a second person approves the change.

  • One audit log

Every request tied to a named person, ready for review.

How Lever gets connected

We connect Lever for your team in a guided pilot, on the same gateway every app uses. No code on your side.

  1. 01

    Agree the questions

We list the Lever questions and changes your team needs, and who may use each.

  2. 02

    Connect with your admin

Your Lever administrator creates a dedicated integration user with only that access.

  3. 03

    Test with your people

A small group tries it in Claude, ChatGPT or Copilot while we tune the tools.

  4. 04

    Roll out with rules

Roles, approval limits and the audit log are in place before everyone joins.

Then people use it from the assistant they already have

Lever questions

Does Lever call candidates opportunities?

Yes. In Lever a person can have several opportunities, one for each role they are considered for. The assistant answers at the opportunity level, so a candidate's status for one posting is never confused with another.

Can it help with nurture campaigns?

It can report on who is in a campaign, who replied and who moved forward. Sending campaign emails stays in Lever, and any new outreach the assistant drafts is reviewed by the recruiter before use.

Who approves offers prepared through the assistant?

Your existing Lever offer approval chain still applies. mcpbizapps can add a further rule, for example that any offer above the salary band needs finance, and every approval is recorded under the approver's name.

Does mcpbizapps keep a copy of our Lever data?

No. When someone asks a question, mcpbizapps reads the answer live from Lever through a dedicated integration user and returns it without storing it. The audit log records who asked, which tool ran and the result, with personal fields and free text removed.

Lever is a trademark of its owner. mcpbizapps is not affiliated with Employ; the name describes the connection only.
