OneLogin for Claude, ChatGPT and Copilot
IT admins and help desk staff ask Claude, ChatGPT or Copilot about OneLogin: users and their status, the roles that grant apps, mappings that assign roles automatically, user policies, events such as failed logins or MFA changes. Privileged roles can be kept out of reach. Role changes and suspensions wait for an approver. Access goes live after a guided pilot, and mapping changes stay with your identity team.

Changes, governed
What the assistant can prepare in OneLogin
The assistant never saves on its own. It prepares the change, the person checks the preview and confirms, and anything above your limits waits for an approver.
- 1 Prepare The assistant drafts the change from the request.
- 2 Preview and confirm The person sees exactly what will change.
- 3 Approve Above your limits, a second person decides.
- 4 Saved and logged Written to OneLogin under a named person.
-
Add a role to a user
The app owner approves, and admin roles also need the security team.
-
Suspend a user
A second IT or security approver confirms the suspension first.
-
Remove an MFA device so a user can enroll a new phone
A second help desk analyst approves after an identity check.
Example rules. During the pilot you set the limits, the approvers and which roles may prepare each change.
Why it needs care
Governance built for OneLogin
In OneLogin, a broad mapping can change access for hundreds of users at once, so mappings are explained but never edited through the assistant. A role change preview lists every user it affects. Replacing someone's MFA device needs a second analyst after an identity check, which blocks a caller posing as a locked-out employee.

OneLogin questions
Can it explain OneLogin mappings?
Yes. Admins can ask which mappings assign a role and which users they match today. Changing a mapping stays in OneLogin with your identity team, because a single mapping can affect many people at once.
Can help desk staff replace an MFA device?
They can prepare the removal so the user can enroll a new phone. A second analyst approves it after checking the person's identity, and both names are kept in the audit log.
Is OneLogin still its own product?
Yes. OneLogin is part of One Identity and is still sold and run as its own product. The connection covers the OneLogin account your team signs in to, whatever other One Identity products you use.
Does mcpbizapps keep a copy of our OneLogin data?
No. When someone asks a question, mcpbizapps reads the answer live from OneLogin through a dedicated integration user and returns it without storing it. The audit log records who asked, which tool ran and the result, with personal fields and free text removed.
OneLogin is a trademark of its owner. mcpbizapps is not affiliated with One Identity; the name describes the connection only.
