PandaDoc for Claude, ChatGPT and Copilot

Sales teams can ask Claude, ChatGPT or Copilot whether a prospect opened a PandaDoc proposal, which documents sit in Sent with no completion, the value of proposals completed this month and which quotes carry a large discount. Reps see their own documents and managers see their team's. Drafts are shown before they exist. A guided pilot sets your discount limits before anyone drafts a proposal.

Ask in a sentence

What can your team ask PandaDoc?

Questions from account executive, sales manager, revenue operations manager and others, answered from live PandaDoc data and only for the people allowed to see them.

Records it works with

  • Documents
  • Templates
  • Content library
  • Pricing tables
  • Quotes
  • Contacts
  • Account executive

“Has Orchard Lane opened our proposal yet, and which sections did they view?”

  • Sales manager

“Which documents have been in Sent status for over ten days with no completion?”

  • Revenue operations manager

“What is the total value of documents completed this month, by sales rep?”

  • Deal desk analyst

“Which quotes this quarter include a discount over 15% in the pricing table?”

  • Marketing manager

“Which templates still use the old case study block from the content library?”

  • Customer success manager

“Find the signed renewal for Bayview Clinics and list its line items.”

Changes, governed

What the assistant can prepare in PandaDoc

The assistant never saves on its own. It prepares the change, the person checks the preview and confirms, and anything above your limits waits for an approver.

  1. 1 Prepare The assistant drafts the change from the request.
  2. 2 Preview and confirm The person sees exactly what will change.
  3. 3 Approve Above your limits, a second person decides.
  4. 4 Saved and logged Written to PandaDoc under a named person.
  • Draft a proposal from a template with the pricing table filled in

The rep reviews and sends it; discounts above 15% need the sales manager to approve first.

  • Send a reminder on a document awaiting signature

The document owner confirms the reminder before it goes to the recipient.

  • Move a sent document back to draft to correct pricing

The owner confirms, and any price change after sending needs deal desk approval.

Example rules. During the pilot you set the limits, the approvers and which roles may prepare each change.

Why it needs care

Governance built for PandaDoc

Proposals show prices and discounts, and PandaDoc records when a buyer read each page. A rep works only with their own documents. Any draft with a discount above 15% waits for the sales manager, and any price change after sending goes to deal desk. Managers can later see which deals each person asked about.

  • Sign-in by work email

Only people you invite, with a one-time code. No shared logins.

  • Roles per tool

Each role reaches only the PandaDoc records it needs.

  • View only, if you prefer

Admins can keep a connection to lookups with one switch.

  • A preview first

Every change is shown in full before anything is saved.

  • Approval rules

Above your limits, a second person approves the change.

  • One audit log

Every request tied to a named person, ready for review.

PandaDoc questions

Can the assistant build a PandaDoc proposal?

It drafts one from your approved template, filling in the recipient, pricing table and content library blocks from the details you give. The rep reviews the draft in PandaDoc and sends it when ready.

Can it see document views and activity?

Yes, for people allowed to see the document. It can say when a recipient opened a proposal and which sections they spent time on, which helps a rep decide when to follow up.

Does it enforce our discount rules?

Yes. You set a discount limit, and any draft or pricing change above it waits for the approver you name. The preview shows the discount and the totals before anything is saved.

Does mcpbizapps keep a copy of our PandaDoc data?

No. When someone asks a question, mcpbizapps reads the answer live from PandaDoc through a dedicated integration user and returns it without storing it. The audit log records who asked, which tool ran and the result, with personal fields and free text removed.

PandaDoc is a trademark of its owner. mcpbizapps is not affiliated with PandaDoc; the name describes the connection only.
