Yardi Voyager for Claude, ChatGPT and Copilot

Property teams on Yardi Voyager ask the same things every week: open work orders by property, lease charges due this month, tenants more than 30 days behind and units vacant but not ready. mcpbizapps lets Claude, ChatGPT or Copilot answer them, and each person sees only the properties they manage. During a guided pilot, the connection is matched to your property lists and charge codes.

Changes, governed

What the assistant can prepare in Yardi Voyager

The assistant never saves on its own. It prepares the change, the person checks the preview and confirms, and anything above your limits waits for an approver.

  1. 1 Prepare The assistant drafts the change from the request.
  2. 2 Preview and confirm The person sees exactly what will change.
  3. 3 Approve Above your limits, a second person decides.
  4. 4 Saved and logged Written to Yardi Voyager under a named person.
  • Create a work order from a resident request

Routine requests are logged on confirmation; anything marked emergency also alerts the on-call supervisor.

  • Prepare a rent concession on a lease

Concessions above one week of rent need the regional manager to approve.

  • Add a one-time lease charge for damages

Charges above $500 need the property manager to approve.

Example rules. During the pilot you set the limits, the approvers and which roles may prepare each change.

Why it needs care

Governance built for Yardi Voyager

Voyager keeps tenant identities, ledgers and lease terms next to each property's books. Maintenance technicians can work orders without ever seeing a tenant ledger. Concessions above one week of rent need the regional manager, and damage charges over $500 need the property manager. Every lookup and change in Voyager is tied to the staff member who made it.

  • Sign-in by work email

Only people you invite, with a one-time code. No shared logins.

  • Roles per tool

Each role reaches only the Yardi Voyager records it needs.

  • View only, if you prefer

Admins can keep a connection to lookups with one switch.

  • A preview first

Every change is shown in full before anything is saved.

  • Approval rules

Above your limits, a second person approves the change.

  • One audit log

Every request tied to a named person, ready for review.

Yardi Voyager questions

Can maintenance staff use it without seeing tenant balances?

Yes. Roles can let technicians ask about work orders, units and vendors while tenant ledgers, lease charges and contact details stay with property and leasing managers who need them for their daily work.

Can the assistant post lease charges in Voyager?

It prepares the charge with the charge code, amount and date in a preview. The property manager confirms, and amounts above your limit go to an approver before Voyager posts anything.

Does mcpbizapps keep a copy of our Yardi Voyager data?

No. When someone asks a question, mcpbizapps reads the answer live from Yardi Voyager through a dedicated integration user and returns it without storing it. The audit log records who asked, which tool ran and the result, with personal fields and free text removed.

Yardi Voyager is a trademark of its owner. mcpbizapps is not affiliated with Yardi Systems; the name describes the connection only.
