GTreasury for Claude, ChatGPT and Copilot
Cash managers, debt managers and hedge accountants each bring their own questions to GTreasury. With Claude, ChatGPT or Copilot connected, they can ask about positions across banks and entities, payments waiting for approval, debt and investment deals with their next interest dates, hedge positions, and the entries treasury sends to the ledger. Every payment needs a second approver. A guided pilot brings GTreasury online with your treasury operations lead.

Changes, governed
What the assistant can prepare in GTreasury
The assistant never saves on its own. It prepares the change, the person checks the preview and confirms, and anything above your limits waits for an approver.
- 1 Prepare The assistant drafts the change from the request.
- 2 Preview and confirm The person sees exactly what will change.
- 3 Approve Above your limits, a second person decides.
- 4 Saved and logged Written to GTreasury under a named person.
-
Prepare a funding transfer between operating accounts
Every transfer needs a second approver, and above $2 million the treasurer.
-
Record a new term deposit deal
Deals need the treasury operations lead and a second person to confirm terms.
-
Add a note to a payment held for review
A note on a held payment does not change where the money goes; the cash manager confirms it.
Example rules. During the pilot you set the limits, the approvers and which roles may prepare each change.
Why it needs care
Governance built for GTreasury
Large sums leave through the GTreasury payments engine every day, and its deal records drive interest and hedge accounting. A cash manager has no reason to edit a hedge, so each team works only in its own area. Deals and payments always need two people, and the preview spells out amount, account and value date before either approves.

GTreasury questions
Can the assistant show our cash position across banks?
Yes. Ask for current or projected positions by bank, entity, account or currency. Answers come straight from GTreasury, and someone assigned to the US entities will not see balances held by the European or Asian ones.
Does it work with hedge accounting?
It can report hedge positions, effectiveness results and related entries as GTreasury records them. Hedge designations, documentation and accounting judgments stay with your treasury and accounting staff, and the assistant never changes them.
Can it prepare debt and investment deals?
It can prepare a new deal record from agreed terms, shown as a preview. The deal needs a second person to confirm it, the same way your treasury team checks a confirmation from the bank.
Does mcpbizapps keep a copy of our GTreasury data?
No. When someone asks a question, mcpbizapps reads the answer live from GTreasury through a dedicated integration user and returns it without storing it. The audit log records who asked, which tool ran and the result, with personal fields and free text removed.
GTreasury is a trademark of its owner. mcpbizapps is not affiliated with GTreasury; the name describes the connection only.
