Kyriba for Claude, ChatGPT and Copilot

Kyriba holds the answers a treasury desk wants before the first funding call, and Claude, ChatGPT or Copilot can now fetch them: cash positions by bank, entity and currency, the forecast against actuals, payments pending approval or rejected by a bank, FX exposures by currency pair and the next debt or investment maturities. Access follows entities and bank accounts. Setup happens in a guided pilot alongside your treasury systems owner.

  • Cash positions
  • Cash forecasts
  • Bank statements
  • Payments
  • Bank accounts
  • FX exposures
  • Debt and investments
  • Treasury analyst

“What is today’s cash position by currency across all European entities, from this morning’s statements?”

  • Assistant treasurer

“Which payments are pending second approval, and which were rejected by the bank yesterday?”

  • Treasurer

“How did last month’s cash forecast compare with actual flows, by forecast category?”

  • Risk manager

“What is our net EUR/USD exposure for the next two quarters, and how much is hedged?”

  • Regional finance director

“Which bank accounts in Latin America are below their target balance today?”

  • CFO

“What debt maturities and interest payments fall due in the next 90 days?”

Changes, governed

What the assistant can prepare in Kyriba

The assistant never saves on its own. It prepares the change, the person checks the preview and confirms, and anything above your limits waits for an approver.

  1. 1 Prepare The assistant drafts the change from the request.
  2. 2 Preview and confirm The person sees exactly what will change.
  3. 3 Approve Above your limits, a second person decides.
  4. 4 Saved and logged Written to Kyriba under a named person.
  • Prepare an intercompany funding payment between entities

Every payment needs a second approver; above $1 million the treasurer also signs.

  • Adjust a forecast line for a large expected receipt

Changes above $500,000 to the current forecast need the assistant treasurer.

  • Add a comment to a rejected payment for follow-up

A comment leaves the payment itself untouched, so the analyst can add it alone.

Example rules. During the pilot you set the limits, the approvers and which roles may prepare each change.

Why it needs care

Governance built for Kyriba

Kyriba reaches every bank the company uses and can send money abroad within minutes. The danger is a wrong payee, or a large payment split up to slip under a limit. Preparers and approvers hold separate roles per entity, the preview shows payee, account and value date, and no payment leaves without a second person signing off.

  • Sign-in by work email

Only people you invite, with a one-time code. No shared logins.

  • Roles per tool

Each role reaches only the Kyriba records it needs.

  • View only, if you prefer

Admins can keep a connection to lookups with one switch.

  • A preview first

Every change is shown in full before anything is saved.

  • Approval rules

Above your limits, a second person approves the change.

  • One audit log

Every request tied to a named person, ready for review.

Kyriba questions

Can the assistant read cash positions from Kyriba?

Yes. Ask for balances by bank, entity, account or currency, taken from the latest statements loaded into Kyriba. A regional finance lead sees only the entities assigned to them, while group treasury can look across all of them.

Do payments still follow our Kyriba approval workflows?

Yes. A payment prepared through the assistant lands in Kyriba and runs through the approval and signing workflows you already use. Before it gets there, mcpbizapps shows a preview and asks a second person to approve, so there are two checks rather than one.

Can it help with FX and hedging questions?

It can show exposures, hedges and coverage as Kyriba records them, so a risk manager can see what is open. Hedging decisions and dealing stay with the treasury team and their banks.

Does mcpbizapps keep a copy of our Kyriba data?

No. When someone asks a question, mcpbizapps reads the answer live from Kyriba through a dedicated integration user and returns it without storing it. The audit log records who asked, which tool ran and the result, with personal fields and free text removed.

Kyriba is a trademark of its owner. mcpbizapps is not affiliated with Kyriba; the name describes the connection only.
