Guru for Claude, ChatGPT and Copilot
Support, sales and people teams can ask Claude, ChatGPT or Copilot what a verified Guru card says, which cards in a collection are past their verification date and which verifiers have a backlog. Answers name the card and its verification status. New cards go to their verifier before they are published. Your knowledge manager works with us through a guided pilot.

Changes, governed
What the assistant can prepare in Guru
The assistant never saves on its own. It prepares the change, the person checks the preview and confirms, and anything above your limits waits for an approver.
- 1 Prepare The assistant drafts the change from the request.
- 2 Preview and confirm The person sees exactly what will change.
- 3 Approve Above your limits, a second person decides.
- 4 Saved and logged Written to Guru under a named person.
-
Draft a new card in a collection from a helpful thread
The assigned verifier reviews the card before it is published to the collection.
-
Request verification on cards that look out of date
The person confirms the list, and more than twenty cards at once needs the collection owner to approve.
-
Suggest an edit to an existing card
The card owner or verifier accepts the change, so verified content is never rewritten silently.
Example rules. During the pilot you set the limits, the approvers and which roles may prepare each change.
Why it needs care
Governance built for Guru
Agents and reps repeat Guru cards to customers, so a wrong card spreads quickly. Answers say whether a card is verified, and verifier review stands between every draft and a published card. Requesting verification on more than twenty cards needs the collection owner. Knowledge managers can see which cards people relied on.

Guru questions
Does the assistant prefer verified Guru cards?
Yes. Answers say whether the card behind them is verified and when, and unverified cards are flagged as such. A knowledge manager can also ask for every card past its verification date in a collection.
Can it publish cards straight into a collection?
No. It drafts the card, the person confirms the draft, and the verifier you assign reviews it before it appears in the collection. That keeps the verification process your team built in place.
Can it read announcements in Guru?
It can tell a person which announcements they have not read yet and summarize them. Sending a new announcement to a whole group is left out of the scope we suggest for the pilot.
Does mcpbizapps keep a copy of our Guru data?
No. When someone asks a question, mcpbizapps reads the answer live from Guru through a dedicated integration user and returns it without storing it. The audit log records who asked, which tool ran and the result, with personal fields and free text removed.
Guru is a trademark of its owner. mcpbizapps is not affiliated with Guru; the name describes the connection only.
