AI assistants for collaboration and knowledge
Somewhere in the wiki, the intranet or a busy channel is the page or decision someone needs. Connected to those tools, an assistant finds it and summarizes it in seconds, and can draft pages, posts and cards. mcpbizapps keeps each person to spaces and channels they could already open, shows drafts before anything is shared, and holds wider posts for an approver.

Use cases
What teams use it for
-
Finding the current answer
Support agents, sales reps and new hires ask a question and get the policy, runbook or how-to page that answers it, with a link to the source.
-
Catching up on channels and meetings
Managers ask what was decided in a busy channel or meeting this week and what is still open, instead of scrolling through hundreds of messages.
-
Keeping knowledge fresh
Knowledge managers find pages and cards that are out of date, unverified or contradict each other, and send them to their owners for review.
-
Drafting from conversations
A long thread or set of meeting notes becomes a draft page, canvas or card that the author reviews and publishes in the right place.
Real questions

A sample from the app pages. Each answer comes live from the app, for the people allowed to see it.
- “Which pages in the HR Policies space have not been updated in over a year?”
- “Summarize the open decisions on the Product Priorities page and who owns each one.”
- “Which files on the Finance site are shared with people outside the company?”
- “Find the thread where we discussed the Dunmore Hotels renewal discount.”
- “Which teams include guests from outside the company?”
- “What did Ines from Harrow Logistics ask for in her last three emails?”
- “Which cards in the Sales collection are unverified or past their verification date?”
- “Summarize the entries in the Team Check-ins table for this week, grouped by team.”
Governance
What to control in Collaboration and knowledge
Wikis and chat tools hold far more than their names suggest: salary discussions in private channels, incident write-ups, legal advice and plans for deals that have not been announced. The failure to prevent is a private message or restricted page shown to the wrong person, or a post sent to a large audience by mistake. Access in mcpbizapps stays within spaces and channels people can already open, every draft is shown before posting, company wide posts need approval, and searches are kept in a named log.

Collaboration and knowledge questions
Can an AI assistant read private Slack channels or restricted pages?
Only if you choose to include them. During the pilot you decide which spaces, sites and channels the integration user can reach, and roles narrow that for each person. Many companies leave direct messages and private channels out entirely.
Will the assistant post messages or publish pages by itself?
No. It prepares a draft, the person sees a preview and confirms it, and posts to large audiences or company wide spaces can require a second approver. Nothing appears in a channel or space until those steps are done.
How do answers stay accurate when pages are out of date?
Answers name the page, card or thread they came from and when it was last updated, so people can judge how fresh it is. Knowledge managers can also ask the assistant to list stale or unverified content for review.
