Propel for Claude, ChatGPT and Copilot
Propel runs inside Salesforce, so engineering, quality and sales all touch the same product record. mcpbizapps lets each of them ask Claude, ChatGPT or Copilot what matters to their job: which change orders are stuck in review, where an item is used, which NCRs are open against a supplier and which product details marketing approved. Your product operations team sets it up with us in a guided pilot.

Changes, governed
What the assistant can prepare in Propel
The assistant never saves on its own. It prepares the change, the person checks the preview and confirms, and anything above your limits waits for an approver.
- 1 Prepare The assistant drafts the change from the request.
- 2 Preview and confirm The person sees exactly what will change.
- 3 Approve Above your limits, a second person decides.
- 4 Saved and logged Written to Propel under a named person.
-
Draft a change order to update an item's specification
Change orders route through your Propel approval workflow; the assistant only drafts them.
-
Open an NCR from a receiving inspection note
The inspector opens the NCR after reading it over; notifying the supplier needs the quality manager.
-
Update a product's marketing description in the catalog
Edits on released products need the product manager to approve.
Example rules. During the pilot you set the limits, the approvers and which roles may prepare each change.
Why it needs care
Governance built for Propel
Propel links product data, quality evidence and what sales can sell, so one wrong edit can reach customers. Change orders are only drafted and then follow your Propel workflow. Supplier notifications on an NCR need the quality manager, and edits to released products need the product manager. Sales users never see quality records. Design and quality reviews can see who prepared each update.

Propel questions
Does it work with Propel running inside our Salesforce org?
Yes. The connection uses a dedicated integration user in your org, and roles decide which Propel objects each person can reach. Sales users can ask catalog questions without seeing quality records.
Can the assistant close an NCR or CAPA?
No. It can gather the details and prepare updates, but closing quality records stays with your quality approvers in Propel, so the record of who decided, and when, remains clear for audits.
Does mcpbizapps keep a copy of our Propel data?
No. When someone asks a question, mcpbizapps reads the answer live from Propel through a dedicated integration user and returns it without storing it. The audit log records who asked, which tool ran and the result, with personal fields and free text removed.
Propel is a trademark of its owner. mcpbizapps is not affiliated with Propel Software; the name describes the connection only.
