The assistant never saves on its own. It prepares the change, the person checks the preview and confirms, and anything above your limits waits for an approver.

Why it needs care
Governance built for Qlik Sense
Qlik apps load data from ERP, CRM and finance systems into memory, and Section Access is often the main row-level control. Each role queries as a user that Section Access already recognizes. Master items keep definitions consistent with the dashboards. Reloads and alerts are shown before they start, which matters for large apps during the working day.

Qlik Sense questions
Can ChatGPT read a Qlik Sense app?
Yes, through mcpbizapps. The assistant asks the app for master measures and dimensions under the selections the question needs, and Qlik calculates the result. Answers name the app and the selections used, so anyone can open the same view to check.
Does Section Access still apply?
Yes. Each mcpbizapps role maps to a Qlik user or group that your Section Access table already covers, so a regional manager reaches only their region. We test the mapping with real users during the pilot before wider use.
Does it work with both Qlik Cloud and client-managed Qlik Sense?
Yes. The pilot covers either Qlik Cloud or Qlik Sense Enterprise on Windows. Sites hosted on your own servers need a private connection, which we set up together with your Qlik admin.
Does mcpbizapps keep a copy of our Qlik Sense data?
No. When someone asks a question, mcpbizapps reads the answer live from Qlik Sense through a dedicated integration user and returns it without storing it. The audit log records who asked, which tool ran and the result, with personal fields and free text removed.
