Wrike for Claude, ChatGPT and Copilot

Project and creative operations teams can ask Claude, ChatGPT or Copilot which Wrike tasks wait on review, which projects are past their end date, how workload spreads across the team and what came in through request forms. Spaces carry over, and task or date changes are shown first. Submitting requests for others can be added to the guided pilot if you want it.

Changes, governed

What the assistant can prepare in Wrike

The assistant never saves on its own. It prepares the change, the person checks the preview and confirms, and anything above your limits waits for an approver.

  1. 1 Prepare The assistant drafts the change from the request.
  2. 2 Preview and confirm The person sees exactly what will change.
  3. 3 Approve Above your limits, a second person decides.
  4. 4 Saved and logged Written to Wrike under a named person.
  • Create a project from a blueprint for a new client

The account lead confirms; projects that add external collaborators need the space admin to approve.

  • Reassign tasks between team members

Moving more than eight tasks to other people needs the resource manager to approve.

  • Shift task dates after a delay

Moving a milestone by more than five working days needs the program manager to approve.

Example rules. During the pilot you set the limits, the approvers and which roles may prepare each change.

Why it needs care

Governance built for Wrike

Wrike spaces often include client work, agency collaborators and creative files under review. A change can touch many tasks, so the full set is shown first. New external collaborators need the space admin, and a milestone moved more than five working days needs the program manager. Owners can see who asked and who changed what.

  • Sign-in by work email

Only people you invite, with a one-time code. No shared logins.

  • Roles per tool

Each role reaches only the Wrike records it needs.

  • View only, if you prefer

Admins can keep a connection to lookups with one switch.

  • A preview first

Every change is shown in full before anything is saved.

  • Approval rules

Above your limits, a second person approves the change.

  • One audit log

Every request tied to a named person, ready for review.

Your Wrike administrator creates a dedicated integration user with only that access.

  3. 03

    Test with your people

A small group tries it in Claude, ChatGPT or Copilot while we tune the tools.

  4. 04

    Roll out with rules

Wrike questions

Can the assistant use Wrike request forms?

It can report on what came in through a request form, grouped by type, requester or status. Submitting a request on behalf of someone else is something you can include in the pilot, with a preview the person confirms first.

Does it understand blueprints and custom item types?

Yes. It can name the blueprint a project came from and work with custom item types such as campaigns or deliverables, so questions match the way your team has set Wrike up rather than a generic task list.

Can it show workload across a team?

Yes. It can list who has the most effort or tasks scheduled in a period and which tasks have no assignee, so a resource manager can rebalance work. Any reassignment it prepares is previewed first.

Does mcpbizapps keep a copy of our Wrike data?

No. When someone asks a question, mcpbizapps reads the answer live from Wrike through a dedicated integration user and returns it without storing it. The audit log records who asked, which tool ran and the result, with personal fields and free text removed.

Wrike is a trademark of its owner. mcpbizapps is not affiliated with Wrike; the name describes the connection only.
