AI assistants for field service management
Field service software runs the day for dispatchers, technicians and service managers: jobs, schedules, estimates, invoices and maintenance agreements. An AI assistant connected to it can tell a dispatcher which jobs are at risk of running late, show a service manager which agreements are up for renewal, or prepare a reschedule. mcpbizapps limits what each person reaches by role, previews every change, and sends discounts, write-offs and bulk reschedules to an approver.

Use cases
What teams use it for
-
Morning dispatch checks
A dispatcher asks which jobs today have no technician, which techs are overbooked and which customers asked for a morning window, and gets the answer from the live schedule.
-
Job history before arrival
A technician asks for past visits, installed equipment and open estimates at an address before they knock on the door, without calling the office.
-
Agreement and membership renewals
Service managers ask which maintenance agreements expire this month and which customers have visits due, so renewals and seasonal tune-ups are not missed.
-
Estimates and invoices that need attention
Office staff ask which estimates were never followed up and which invoices are past due, and the assistant prepares reminders for a person to review and send.

What to control in Field service
Field service records hold home addresses, gate codes, phone numbers and payment details for customers who let technicians into their homes and sites. Roles keep technicians to their own jobs and office staff to their branches. Previews show the exact schedule, price or invoice change before it is saved. Approvals hold discounts, refunds, write-offs and reminders sent to many customers, and when a customer disputes a bill, the log shows which person requested the change.

Field service questions
Can an AI assistant reschedule jobs?
It can prepare the reschedule and show the new time, the technician and any job it would bump. The dispatcher confirms, and moving many jobs at once waits for a service manager. Customers are only notified once a person has agreed.
Can technicians use it from the field?
Yes, through Claude, ChatGPT or Copilot on their phone. Roles keep each technician to their own jobs and customers, so they can check equipment history or a past visit without seeing the whole schedule or pricing they do not need.
Can the assistant change prices on estimates or invoices?
It can prepare the change and show the line items and new total. The person confirms, and discounts or write-offs above the amount you set wait for a manager before the estimate or invoice changes.
