Jobber for Claude, ChatGPT and Copilot
Owners and office staff on Jobber can ask Claude, ChatGPT or Copilot which requests still need a reply, which quotes sit unapproved, what visits are booked this week and which invoices are overdue. mcpbizapps keeps crew members to their own visits. Moving more than eight visits off a rained-out day needs the owner or scheduler. Setup is a guided pilot with the owner or office manager.

Changes, governed
What the assistant can prepare in Jobber
The assistant never saves on its own. It prepares the change, the person checks the preview and confirms, and anything above your limits waits for an approver.
- 1 Prepare The assistant drafts the change from the request.
- 2 Preview and confirm The person sees exactly what will change.
- 3 Approve Above your limits, a second person decides.
- 4 Saved and logged Written to Jobber under a named person.
-
Convert an approved quote into a job and schedule the first visit
The office manager confirms the preview before the job appears on the schedule.
-
Add a discount to a quote or invoice
Discounts above 10% or $200 need the owner to approve.
-
Send reminders for all overdue invoices
Reminders to more than 15 clients at once need the owner to approve.
-
Move all visits from a rained-out day
Moving more than eight visits needs the owner or scheduler to approve.
Example rules. During the pilot you set the limits, the approvers and which roles may prepare each change.
Why it needs care
Governance built for Jobber
Jobber keeps client home addresses, property notes such as gate codes, and payment history. Crew members do not need pricing or other clients, so they see their own visits. Office staff handle scheduling and billing. Reminders to more than 15 clients need the owner, as do discounts above 10% or $200.

Jobber questions
Can ChatGPT tell me which Jobber quotes need follow-up?
Yes. Ask which quotes are still awaiting response, sorted by value or age, and Jobber's current list comes back. The assistant can also draft a follow-up message for each client for you to review.
Can crews use it in the field?
Yes. A crew lead can ask about the day's visits and property notes from their phone. Their role keeps them to their own visits, so pricing and other clients stay with the office.
Can the assistant send invoices or reminders?
It prepares invoices and reminders and shows each client and amount before anything goes out. The owner or office manager confirms, and large batches need the owner's approval before a single reminder is sent.
Does mcpbizapps keep a copy of our Jobber data?
No. When someone asks a question, mcpbizapps reads the answer live from Jobber through a dedicated integration user and returns it without storing it. The audit log records who asked, which tool ran and the result, with personal fields and free text removed.
Jobber is a trademark of its owner. mcpbizapps is not affiliated with Jobber; the name describes the connection only.
