Cloudbeds for Claude, ChatGPT and Copilot
Small hotels and hostels run on few people, so the front desk needs quick answers: who arrives today and from which channel, which rooms are still dirty, what a guest still owes. mcpbizapps lets Claude, ChatGPT or Copilot answer those from Cloudbeds, with housekeeping and front desk kept to their own tasks. Setup is a guided pilot built around your room types and rate plans.

Changes, governed
What the assistant can prepare in Cloudbeds
The assistant never saves on its own. It prepares the change, the person checks the preview and confirms, and anything above your limits waits for an approver.
- 1 Prepare The assistant drafts the change from the request.
- 2 Preview and confirm The person sees exactly what will change.
- 3 Approve Above your limits, a second person decides.
- 4 Saved and logged Written to Cloudbeds under a named person.
-
Add a charge or credit to a guest folio
Credits above $75 need the front desk manager to approve.
-
Change the room assignment on a reservation
Moves within the same room type need only the agent; an upgrade to a higher type needs the manager.
-
Update a room's housekeeping status
The housekeeper or supervisor confirms each update before it is saved.
Example rules. During the pilot you set the limits, the approvers and which roles may prepare each change.
Why it needs care
Governance built for Cloudbeds
Cloudbeds pulls bookings from many channels into one calendar, so a careless room move can oversell a night and a stray credit can undercharge a stay. Housekeepers only touch room status. Folio credits above $75 and free upgrades need the front desk manager. Payment details never show in answers, and the owner can look back at who requested each change.

Cloudbeds questions
Does the assistant change rates in the Cloudbeds channel manager?
We keep rate and availability changes with your revenue manager. The assistant answers questions about rate plans and pickup by source, and can prepare folio, room and housekeeping updates for staff to confirm.
Is it useful for small properties with a few staff?
Yes. A small team can ask for arrivals, balances and room status in one sentence, and roles still separate the owner, front desk and housekeeping so each sees what fits their work.
Does mcpbizapps keep a copy of our Cloudbeds data?
No. When someone asks a question, mcpbizapps reads the answer live from Cloudbeds through a dedicated integration user and returns it without storing it. The audit log records who asked, which tool ran and the result, with personal fields and free text removed.
Cloudbeds is a trademark of its owner. mcpbizapps is not affiliated with Cloudbeds; the name describes the connection only.
