Mews for Claude, ChatGPT and Copilot

Mews operators juggle rooms, meeting spaces and parking in one system. Through mcpbizapps, Claude, ChatGPT or Copilot can say which reservations check in today and in which space category, which bills stayed open after checkout and how a rate is selling. People see only the properties their role covers. We start with a guided pilot shaped around your rate groups and services.

Ask in a sentence

What can your team ask Mews?

Questions from front office manager, finance manager, revenue manager and others, answered from live Mews data and only for the people allowed to see them.

Records it works with

  • Reservations
  • Customers
  • Bills
  • Rates
  • Rate groups
  • Spaces
  • Services
  • Products
  • Front office manager

“Which reservations check in today at the Prague property, and which are in suite categories?”

  • Finance manager

“Which bills are still open for guests who checked out more than two days ago?”

  • Revenue manager

“How many room nights has the Flexible Breakfast rate sold for December?”

  • Events coordinator

“Which meeting spaces are booked next Wednesday, and for which companies?”

  • Guest experience manager

“Which returning guests arrive this weekend, and what notes are on their profiles?”

  • Group general manager

“Compare occupancy and average rate across our four hotels for last month.”

Changes, governed

What the assistant can prepare in Mews

The assistant never saves on its own. It prepares the change, the person checks the preview and confirms, and anything above your limits waits for an approver.

  1. 1 Prepare The assistant drafts the change from the request.
  2. 2 Preview and confirm The person sees exactly what will change.
  3. 3 Approve Above your limits, a second person decides.
  4. 4 Saved and logged Written to Mews under a named person.
  • Override the rate price on a reservation

Overrides more than 10% below the selected rate need the revenue manager.

  • Rebate an item on an open bill

Rebates above EUR 80 need the front office manager to approve.

  • Add a product such as parking to a reservation

The front desk agent checks the product price and dates before parking or another extra is added.

Example rules. During the pilot you set the limits, the approvers and which roles may prepare each change.

Why it needs care

Governance built for Mews

In Mews, guest profiles, payments and bills live together, and several shifts touch the same reservation. The worry is a rebate or price override that slips past policy. Overrides more than 10% under the selected rate go to the revenue manager, and rebates above EUR 80 go to the front office manager. Payment data stays out of answers, and every change traces back to a person.

  • Sign-in by work email

Only people you invite, with a one-time code. No shared logins.

  • Roles per tool

Each role reaches only the Mews records it needs.

  • View only, if you prefer

Admins can keep a connection to lookups with one switch.

  • A preview first

Every change is shown in full before anything is saved.

  • Approval rules

Above your limits, a second person approves the change.

  • One audit log

Every request tied to a named person, ready for review.

How Mews gets connected

We connect Mews for your team in a guided pilot, on the same gateway every app uses. No code on your side.

  1. 01

    Agree the questions

We list the Mews questions and changes your team needs, and who may use each.

  2. 02

    Connect with your admin

Your Mews administrator creates a dedicated integration user with only that access.

  3. 03

    Test with your people

A small group tries it in Claude, ChatGPT or Copilot while we tune the tools.

  4. 04

    Roll out with rules

Roles, approval limits and the audit log are in place before everyone joins.

Mews questions

Does the assistant work with Mews spaces like meeting rooms and parking?

Yes. Questions can cover bookable spaces and services as well as rooms, so an events coordinator can check meeting room bookings while the front desk asks about arrivals and departures.

Can it close bills in Mews?

We leave closing bills and taking payments with your staff in Mews. The assistant can show what is open, explain items on a bill and prepare rebates for a manager to approve.

Does mcpbizapps keep a copy of our Mews data?

No. When someone asks a question, mcpbizapps reads the answer live from Mews through a dedicated integration user and returns it without storing it. The audit log records who asked, which tool ran and the result, with personal fields and free text removed.

Mews is a trademark of its owner. mcpbizapps is not affiliated with Mews; the name describes the connection only.
