Conga for Claude, ChatGPT and Copilot

Legal, sales operations and deal desk teams can ask Claude, ChatGPT or Copilot which Conga agreements sit in other party review, which quotes wait for approval, which activated agreements expire next quarter and where a non-standard clause was used. Access follows the accounts each team owns, and generated documents are shown before they are created. A guided pilot brings in Conga on Salesforce first.

Ask in a sentence

What can your team ask Conga?

Questions from contracts manager, sales operations manager, legal ops manager and others, answered from live Conga data and only for the people allowed to see them.

Records it works with

  • Agreements
  • Agreement documents
  • Templates
  • Clauses
  • Quotes
  • Approval requests
  • Contracts manager

“Which agreements have been in Other Party Review status for more than ten days?”

  • Sales operations manager

“Which quotes over $50,000 are waiting for approval this week?”

  • Legal ops manager

“Which activated agreements expire next quarter with no renewal term?”

  • Commercial counsel

“Which agreements signed this year used a non-standard limitation of liability clause?”

  • Deal desk manager

“Which approval requests on the Ridgeline Energy quote are still pending, and with whom?”

  • Revenue operations manager

“Which agreements were generated from the 2024 version of the services template?”

Changes, governed

What the assistant can prepare in Conga

The assistant never saves on its own. It prepares the change, the person checks the preview and confirms, and anything above your limits waits for an approver.

  1. 1 Prepare The assistant drafts the change from the request.
  2. 2 Preview and confirm The person sees exactly what will change.
  3. 3 Approve Above your limits, a second person decides.
  4. 4 Saved and logged Written to Conga under a named person.
  • Generate an agreement document from an approved template

The document stays in authoring, and the contracts manager reviews it before it goes anywhere.

  • Submit an agreement for internal legal review

The requester confirms; agreements with edited clauses go to commercial counsel as usual.

  • Add a renewal reminder to an activated agreement

The legal ops manager confirms the reminder date and owner.

Example rules. During the pilot you set the limits, the approvers and which roles may prepare each change.

Why it needs care

Governance built for Conga

Because Conga sits next to your Salesforce opportunities, pricing, approvals and clause history are all in reach of one question. A rep reaches the accounts their team owns. Generated documents stay in authoring for the contracts manager, edited clauses still go to commercial counsel, and quote approvals stay with the people your Conga rules name.

  • Sign-in by work email

Only people you invite, with a one-time code. No shared logins.

  • Roles per tool

Each role reaches only the Conga records it needs.

  • View only, if you prefer

Admins can keep a connection to lookups with one switch.

  • A preview first

Every change is shown in full before anything is saved.

  • Approval rules

Above your limits, a second person approves the change.

  • One audit log

Every request tied to a named person, ready for review.

Conga questions

Does it work with Conga on Salesforce?

Yes. Conga agreements and quotes on Salesforce are the usual starting point, and the assistant reads them alongside the related account and opportunity when Salesforce is connected too, with roles applied to each.

Can the assistant approve Conga quotes?

No. Approvals stay with the people your Conga approval rules name. The assistant tells a rep which approvals a quote waits on and who holds them, so they know whom to follow up with.

Can it compare clauses against our clause library?

It can list agreements where a clause differs from the approved version in your library and show the wording side by side. Deciding whether the change is acceptable stays with counsel.

Does mcpbizapps keep a copy of our Conga data?

No. When someone asks a question, mcpbizapps reads the answer live from Conga through a dedicated integration user and returns it without storing it. The audit log records who asked, which tool ran and the result, with personal fields and free text removed.

Conga is a trademark of its owner. mcpbizapps is not affiliated with Conga; the name describes the connection only.
