Fiserv for Claude, ChatGPT and Copilot

Bank and credit union staff can ask Claude, ChatGPT or Copilot about their Fiserv core: which deposit accounts have holds, which certificates mature this week, which loans are past due and which fees were waived last month. Roles follow branch and job duties. Servicing changes need a second approver above your limits, and no money is moved. A guided pilot connects the Fiserv core you run.

Ask in a sentence

What can your team ask Fiserv?

Questions from branch manager, deposit operations specialist, collections manager and others, answered from live Fiserv data and only for the people allowed to see them.

Records it works with

  • Customers
  • Deposit accounts
  • Loans
  • Certificates
  • Holds
  • Transactions
  • Stop payments
  • Branch manager

“Which certificates at our branch mature in the next 14 days without a renewal instruction?”

  • Deposit operations specialist

“Which accounts have holds over $5,000 placed more than seven days ago?”

  • Collections manager

“Which consumer loans are between 30 and 59 days past due, by branch?”

  • Fraud analyst

“Which accounts had stop payments added this week, and by which employees?”

  • Retail banking director

“How many fee waivers did each branch grant last month, and for what total?”

  • Personal banker

“What is the available balance on the Okonkwo joint checking account, and are any holds pending?”

Changes, governed

What the assistant can prepare in Fiserv

The assistant never saves on its own. It prepares the change, the person checks the preview and confirms, and anything above your limits waits for an approver.

  1. 1 Prepare The assistant drafts the change from the request.
  2. 2 Preview and confirm The person sees exactly what will change.
  3. 3 Approve Above your limits, a second person decides.
  4. 4 Saved and logged Written to Fiserv under a named person.
  • Place a stop payment on a check at a customer's request

The banker confirms the preview after verifying the customer; stops over $10,000 need a supervisor to approve.

  • Waive a fee on a deposit account

Waivers up to $50 need only the banker's confirmation; larger waivers need the branch manager to approve.

  • Release a deposit hold early

A deposit operations supervisor approves every early release before it is saved.

Example rules. During the pilot you set the limits, the approvers and which roles may prepare each change.

Why it needs care

Governance built for Fiserv

A Fiserv core holds the balances, transactions and personal details of every customer or member. Tellers and back office staff see what their duties need. A hold, stop or waiver is shown before it is saved, and above your limits a second person approves. Examiners can follow every request to a named employee.

  • Sign-in by work email

Only people you invite, with a one-time code. No shared logins.

  • Roles per tool

Each role reaches only the Fiserv records it needs.

  • View only, if you prefer

Admins can keep a connection to lookups with one switch.

  • A preview first

Every change is shown in full before anything is saved.

  • Approval rules

Above your limits, a second person approves the change.

  • One audit log

Every request tied to a named person, ready for review.

How Fiserv gets connected

We connect Fiserv for your team in a guided pilot, on the same gateway every app uses. No code on your side.

  1. 01

    Agree the questions

We list the Fiserv questions and changes your team needs, and who may use each.

  2. 02

    Connect with your admin

Your Fiserv administrator creates a dedicated integration user with only that access.

  3. 03

    Test with your people

A small group tries it in Claude, ChatGPT or Copilot while we tune the tools.

  4. 04

    Roll out with rules

Roles, approval limits and the audit log are in place before everyone joins.

Fiserv questions

Which Fiserv cores does it work with?

Fiserv runs several account processing cores, such as DNA, Premier and Signature. During the pilot we connect the one your institution uses and agree which records and actions each role may reach.

Can the assistant transfer funds for a customer?

No. Transfers, withdrawals and payments are outside what the assistant prepares. It answers account questions and prepares servicing changes, such as a stop payment, for staff to confirm and approve.

Is it useful for credit unions as well as banks?

Yes. Credit unions on a Fiserv core can ask about members, shares and loans in the same way, with roles and approval limits set to match their own policies and branch structure.

Does mcpbizapps keep a copy of our Fiserv data?

No. When someone asks a question, mcpbizapps reads the answer live from Fiserv through a dedicated integration user and returns it without storing it. The audit log records who asked, which tool ran and the result, with personal fields and free text removed.

Fiserv is a trademark of its owner. mcpbizapps is not affiliated with Fiserv; the name describes the connection only.
