Temenos for Claude, ChatGPT and Copilot
Temenos Transact answers what bank operations, relationship and risk staff ask each day: which accounts carry posting restrictions, which term deposits mature this week, which customers are close to a credit limit and which loan arrangements are past due. With mcpbizapps, staff ask in Claude, ChatGPT or Copilot. Access follows branch and product, servicing changes need approval, and no funds move. A guided pilot sets up the connection with your core banking team.

Changes, governed
What the assistant can prepare in Temenos
The assistant never saves on its own. It prepares the change, the person checks the preview and confirms, and anything above your limits waits for an approver.
- 1 Prepare The assistant drafts the change from the request.
- 2 Preview and confirm The person sees exactly what will change.
- 3 Approve Above your limits, a second person decides.
- 4 Saved and logged Written to Temenos under a named person.
-
Place a posting restriction on an account
The operations officer confirms the preview, and a second officer approves before the restriction takes effect.
-
Update a customer's contact address
The branch officer confirms after identity checks; a supervisor approves changes made within 30 days of another change.
-
Prepare a limit review record for the credit committee
The relationship manager confirms the draft; changing the limit itself stays with the credit committee.
Example rules. During the pilot you set the limits, the approvers and which roles may prepare each change.
Why it needs care
Governance built for Temenos
Temenos runs the bank's books of record, so even a small servicing change can affect a customer's access to money. Access follows branch, product and duty. A restriction, address change or limit record is shown before saving, and a second officer checks it. Every request carries a name, and the assistant never moves funds.

Temenos questions
Can the assistant make payments or transfers in Temenos?
No. Payments, transfers and postings are outside what mcpbizapps prepares. The assistant answers questions about balances, arrangements and limits, and prepares servicing changes for bank staff to confirm and then approve.
Does it understand Temenos arrangements?
Yes. It reads arrangements for loans, deposits and accounts with their current conditions and status, so staff can answer product questions without moving between several screens in Transact to find them.
Can it work across several legal entities?
Yes. Roles can limit a person to the companies or branches they work in. Answers name the company they came from, so figures from separate entities are never mixed together in one total.
Does mcpbizapps keep a copy of our Temenos data?
No. When someone asks a question, mcpbizapps reads the answer live from Temenos through a dedicated integration user and returns it without storing it. The audit log records who asked, which tool ran and the result, with personal fields and free text removed.
Temenos is a trademark of its owner. mcpbizapps is not affiliated with Temenos; the name describes the connection only.
