Jack Henry for Claude, ChatGPT and Copilot

Community bank and credit union staff ask their Jack Henry core the same things each week: which members have overdrawn shares, which loans missed a payment, which accounts are about to go dormant, which branches opened the most accounts. Through mcpbizapps, those questions can go to Claude, ChatGPT or Copilot. Roles follow duties and branches, a second person approves servicing changes, and nothing moves money. A guided pilot connects SilverLake, Core Director or Symitar.

Ask in a sentence

What can your team ask Jack Henry?

Questions from member services manager, bank president, loan servicing specialist and others, answered from live Jack Henry data and only for the people allowed to see them.

Records it works with

  • Members
  • Customers
  • Share accounts
  • Deposit accounts
  • Loans
  • Holds
  • Transactions
  • Member services manager

“Which members have share drafts overdrawn for more than 10 days?”

  • Bank president

“How many new checking accounts did each branch open this quarter?”

  • Loan servicing specialist

“Which auto loans missed their October payment and have no payment arrangement noted?”

  • Deposit operations manager

“Which accounts become dormant in the next 30 days under our inactivity rule?”

  • BSA officer

Changes, governed

What the assistant can prepare in Jack Henry

The assistant never saves on its own. It prepares the change, the person checks the preview and confirms, and anything above your limits waits for an approver.

  1. 1 Prepare The assistant drafts the change from the request.
  2. 2 Preview and confirm The person sees exactly what will change.
  3. 3 Approve Above your limits, a second person decides.
  4. 4 Saved and logged Written to Jack Henry under a named person.
  • Add a note and payment promise to a delinquent loan

Short promises are the collector's call; any that delay payment more than 30 days need the collections manager.

  • Change the address on a member account

The representative confirms after verifying identity, and a supervisor approves changes on accounts opened in the last 60 days.

  • Reverse a courtesy pay fee

Reversals up to $35 need only the representative's confirmation; anything larger needs a supervisor.

Example rules. During the pilot you set the limits, the approvers and which roles may prepare each change.

Why it needs care

Governance built for Jack Henry

A Jack Henry core is the record of every member's or customer's money. Access follows branch and duty. Riskier changes, such as an address on a recently opened account, bring in a second person. Each note, address or fee change is shown before saving, and examiners and internal auditors can follow every step by name.

  • Sign-in by work email

Only people you invite, with a one-time code. No shared logins.

  • Roles per tool

Each role reaches only the Jack Henry records it needs.

  • View only, if you prefer

Admins can keep a connection to lookups with one switch.

  • A preview first

Every change is shown in full before anything is saved.

  • Approval rules

Above your limits, a second person approves the change.

  • One audit log

Every request tied to a named person, ready for review.

Jack Henry questions

Does it work with both SilverLake and Symitar?

Yes. Banks often run SilverLake or Core Director, and credit unions often run Symitar. During the pilot we connect the core you use and keep its own record names, such as shares for credit union members.

Can the assistant open accounts or move funds?

No. Account opening and money movement stay in your existing processes. The assistant answers questions and prepares servicing changes, such as an address update, for staff to confirm and a supervisor to approve where needed.

Can it help with BSA monitoring?

It can answer factual questions, such as cash activity above a threshold, for staff whose role allows it. Investigating activity and filing reports stays with your BSA team and its existing tools.

Does mcpbizapps keep a copy of our Jack Henry data?

No. When someone asks a question, mcpbizapps reads the answer live from Jack Henry through a dedicated integration user and returns it without storing it. The audit log records who asked, which tool ran and the result, with personal fields and free text removed.

Jack Henry is a trademark of its owner. mcpbizapps is not affiliated with Jack Henry; the name describes the connection only.
