AI assistants for insurance and banking
In insurance and banking systems, an AI assistant answers the operational questions staff ask daily: which renewals are due, which claims sit with no activity, which loans wait on documents, which accounts carry holds. It never decides a claim, a loan or a payment. mcpbizapps keeps each person inside their authority. Changes wait for the person to confirm, sensitive ones go to an approver, and each request is recorded by name.

What teams use it for
-
Renewal and policy servicing
Account managers and underwriters ask which policies renew in the next 60 days, which lack updated exposures and which endorsements are pending, then prepare the follow-up work.
-
Claims file status
Claims supervisors ask which claims have had no activity in 30 days, which reserves have not been reviewed lately and which adjusters carry the heaviest loads.
-
Loan pipeline and documents
Lenders and credit staff ask which loans are stuck at a stage, which are missing borrower documents and which covenants come due for testing this month.
-
Account servicing questions
Bank operations staff ask which accounts have holds, which certificates mature this week and which fees were charged or waived, answered from the core system.

- “What is the available balance on the Okonkwo joint checking account, and are any holds pending?”
- “Which members have share drafts overdrawn for more than 10 days?”
Governance
What to control in Insurance and banking
Insurance and banking data covers people's money, health and property, and decisions about claims, credit and accounts carry legal weight. The assistant prepares and people decide: it never pays a claim, approves a loan or moves funds. Roles follow authority limits, such as an adjuster's reserve limit or a lender's credit authority. Changes are previews a person confirms, anything above a limit waits for an approver, and examiners and auditors can follow every request back to a named person.

Insurance and banking questions
Can an AI assistant approve a loan or a claim?
No. It can gather documents, summarize a file and prepare an update or a draft for review. Credit and claims decisions stay with people who hold that authority, and each approval is recorded by name.
Can it move money between accounts?
No. Transfers and payments are outside what mcpbizapps prepares in banking systems. The assistant can answer questions about balances, holds and transactions, and prepare servicing changes such as an address update for approval.
How do approvals match our authority limits?
During the pilot we set approval rules from your existing limits, such as reserve authority by adjuster level or credit authority by lender, so anything above a person's limit goes to someone who holds it.
