Vitally for Claude, ChatGPT and Copilot

Vitally pulls usage, billing and support data into one account view. With mcpbizapps, CSMs ask Claude, ChatGPT or Copilot which accounts have falling health, which projects are behind, what the last meeting note said and which segments head into renewal. CSMs see the accounts they own, and billing figures can be limited. Playbooks emailing more than 40 contacts need the CS operations lead. We start in a guided pilot.

Changes, governed

What the assistant can prepare in Vitally

The assistant never saves on its own. It prepares the change, the person checks the preview and confirms, and anything above your limits waits for an approver.

  1. 1 Prepare The assistant drafts the change from the request.
  2. 2 Preview and confirm The person sees exactly what will change.
  3. 3 Approve Above your limits, a second person decides.
  4. 4 Saved and logged Written to Vitally under a named person.
  • Create a note and follow-up tasks from a call

Notes and tasks on accounts the CSM owns need no second approver.

  • Start an onboarding project from a template

Projects for accounts above $50,000 ARR alert the head of CS when they start.

  • Run a playbook that emails contacts in a segment

Playbooks that email more than 40 contacts need the CS operations lead to approve.

Example rules. During the pilot you set the limits, the approvers and which roles may prepare each change.

Why it needs care

Governance built for Vitally

Because Vitally shows billing next to what named users do in your product, not every CSM needs every field. Billing can stay with leaders. Notes and tasks appear as drafts before saving. Projects for accounts above $50,000 ARR alert the head of CS. Playbooks that email a segment are where mistakes spread, so large ones need the CS operations lead.

  • Sign-in by work email

Only people you invite, with a one-time code. No shared logins.

  • Roles per tool

Each role reaches only the Vitally records it needs.

  • View only, if you prefer

Admins can keep a connection to lookups with one switch.

  • A preview first

Every change is shown in full before anything is saved.

  • Approval rules

Above your limits, a second person approves the change.

  • One audit log

Every request tied to a named person, ready for review.

Then people use it from the assistant they already have

Vitally questions

Can ChatGPT read Vitally notes and Docs?

Yes, for roles you allow. A CSM can ask for the main points from recent notes or a shared Doc on an account. The reply names the note or Doc it drew on, so checking the source takes a click.

Does it understand Vitally organizations and accounts?

Yes. Questions can cover one account or roll up to an organization above it. Answers say which level they come from, so a parent company's total is never confused with one account.

Can the assistant start projects from templates?

It prepares the project with the template's tasks and dates and shows it as a preview. The owner confirms, and projects for large accounts can need a leader to approve first.

Does mcpbizapps keep a copy of our Vitally data?

No. When someone asks a question, mcpbizapps reads the answer live from Vitally through a dedicated integration user and returns it without storing it. The audit log records who asked, which tool ran and the result, with personal fields and free text removed.

Vitally is a trademark of its owner. mcpbizapps is not affiliated with Vitally; the name describes the connection only.
