AI assistants for observability and cloud costs
AI assistants help engineers and finance teams get quick answers from monitoring, incident and cost tools: what is alerting, who is on call, what changed before a slowdown and why spend jumped. mcpbizapps keeps each role to its services, indexes and accounts, caps how much data a question may scan, and previews mutes, silences, overrides and budget changes for an owner to approve.
Every app is available

Use cases
What teams use it for
-
Incident questions during an outage
On-call engineers ask what is alerting, what changed in the last hour and who is on call next, without switching between five different tools.
-
Service health for managers
Engineering and operations leaders ask how SLOs and error rates are tracking this month, and get a sentence instead of a dashboard to read.
-
Safe muting during maintenance
Teams prepare downtimes, silences and maintenance windows with an end time, and an SRE lead approves the long or wide ones before they apply.
-
Cloud spend explained
FinOps leads and finance analysts ask which services, teams or customers drove a cost change and how spend compares with budget this month.

- “Which SLOs for the customer portal are burning error budget fastest this week?”
- “Run the saved search for privileged account changes and summarize last week's results.”
- “Which teams send the most active metric series to Grafana Cloud Metrics?”
- “Which incidents from the last quarter still have no postmortem?”
- “Which anomalies did CloudZero flag this week, and which teams own the affected spend?”

What to control in Observability and cloud costs
Monitoring tools watch production, and their logs often hold customer details. The risks are an assistant muting the alert that would have caught an outage, an override that pages nobody, a search that scans months of logs, or cost data shared beyond finance. mcpbizapps limits each role to its services, indexes and accounts, caps query time ranges, previews every mute, silence, override and budget change with an end time, requires an owner to approve wide ones, and logs every request with a name.

Observability and cloud costs questions
Can an assistant mute alerts?
It can prepare a downtime, silence or maintenance window with a scope and end time. The person confirms, and anything long, wide or covering paging alerts waits for an SRE lead. Open-ended mutes are not offered at all.
Will assistant questions add to our monitoring bill?
Questions are kept small, with limited time ranges and result sizes, and expensive searches are refused before they run. Admins can see usage by person and role in the audit log and adjust limits.
Can finance and engineering share one connection to cost tools?
Yes. Roles decide who sees which accounts, teams or reports. A team lead can ask about their own services while finance sees the whole organization, all through the same connection and audit log.
